No. 4: Care for your growing hair. 

We can advise you on any hair care products to use (or avoid) and when to use or incorporate them back into your routine in the hours and days following your injections. Avoiding excessive sunlight and heat at the injection sites is generally important. That means putting off intense exercise, saunas, and hot tubs, as advised by Dr. Rodney. To promote predictable healing, we also ask that you not smoke, drink alcohol, or consume coffee and other caffeinated products for two days. 

No. 5: Repeat your injections. 

Hair restoration with PRP is not a “one-and-done” process. It generally involves an initial series of four-monthly treatments, followed by maintenance injections up to four times yearly.
