Microdermabrasion

Does your skin have uneven texture and tone? Skin discoloration? Dark spots? Sun damage? Acne scarring?

Traditional microdermabrasion uses a stream of fine crystals to exfoliate the outer layer of aging or damaged skin. However, at Eternal Dermatology, Dr. Rodney uses newer technology with the SilkPeel® system. SilkPeel® exfoliates the damaged outer layer of skin using a diamond tip on the resurfacing device. This can be further customized by infusing the skin with hydration-boosters to stimulate new cell growth, as well as cosmeceuticals to treat acne and hyperpigmentation.

Treatments are quick, painless and easy. In as little as 20 minutes, this gentle, abrasive technique efficiently produces satisfying results, leaving your skin feeling soft and your complexion with a healthy glow.

There is no downtime associated with microdermabrasion. While it may leave your skin with mild redness for roughly 15 minutes following the procedure due to increased circulation, you can go back to your normal life routine immediately.

For optimal results, we recommend five initial treatments spaced one to three weeks apart. Monthly or bimonthly maintenance sessions help preserve results. You will notice a more youthful appearance even after the first treatment, similar to a light chemical peel, and will continue to see progressive improvement throughout your treatment program. Depending on your needs, microdermabrasion may be combined with other skin renewal procedures.
